Farm Crate at Rose City Elementary

Michigan Agriculture in the Classroom works to increase agricultural literacy; the understanding of the value of agriculture as it affects our daily lives by providing lessons aligned to Next Generation Science Standards, Common Core or career exploration. One way Ag in the Classroom does this, is with Farm Crates. These Farm Crates provide a classroom with an interactive learning experience. Each Farm Crate includes:

• Agriculturally Accurate Book
• Themed Agricultural Magazines
• Virtual Farm Tour
• Hands-on Activity 

Our agency donated a Sugarbeet Farm Crate to 3rd graders in Ms. Kalakay and Ms. Grezeszak class at Rose City Elementary. We can't wait to learn about their experience and see what yummy cookies they make!
